This artist-run, 3000-sq. ft. Chelsea Co-op Gallery is currently reviewing slides and portfolios for future solo and group exhibitions.

We are constantly striving to give all artists a chance to exhibit their work. Please contact the gallery to have your portfolio reviewed or to schedule your next event.

First of all, we would like to thank all of the artists who have exhibited at our new Artists Gallery Chelsea. We had a wide variety of artwork and were able to show beautiful pictures as well as sculptures. Both opening receptions were crowded and the response to the show was very good. We have sold 29 paintings so far which is for a start a satisfying result. In order to attract more visitors to our new space, we have planned events of different kinds regularly. We also appreciate new ideas and impulses from you. Please feel free to contact us with any creative suggestions. Concerning the guidelines for The Artists' Gallery Chelsea exhibitions, we would like to point out the following information for future shows:

Exhibition wall space, artwork curated and hung by professional gallery staff, free advertising in Gallery Guide magazine, wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres at the opening reception, also our mailing of postcards for the opening reception. Discounts for color inserts in the Gallery Guide Magazine, as well as discounts for advertising in numerous other Art Publications.

Invitation cards will be designed for each themed show, either showing one painting by each artist or one painting by one selected artist.

The invitation cards and a Press Release are mailed to our list of over 1000 collectors, art dealers, Press, Consultants, and Museums worldwide.

Note: If you have your own professional contacts we can mail the invitations to them for an additional 10 cents each.

The Artists' reception will be organized and financed by the gallery.

Events will be also organized and financed by the gallery.

COMMISSION: The Artists' Gallery takes a 30% commission on all sales of artwork related directly to the exhibit.

DELIVERY AND PICK-UP OF WORK: For each show, there will be a day on which the artwork has to be delivered and picked up. Artists will be informed when it will take place. The Director must be given prior notification to make alternative arrangements.
